Our story
Built from personal loss. Driven by purpose.
In June 2018, the founders of A Perfect Mover experienced one of the most devastating moments a family can face—the loss of their 17-year-old son. Returning home to that grief made staying impossible. They needed to move.
But the move itself proved harder than anyone expected. With only a single dolly and little preparation, what followed was two full truckloads, ten carloads, and a relentless July heat that pushed every limit. Out of that struggle, something became clear: there had to be a better way to help people through these moments.
Shane's background in moving, combined with the genuine desire to support others in difficult transitions, made the path forward feel inevitable. A Perfect Mover was founded to offer high-quality assistance during the high-stress, deeply personal moments of life—and to give back to the community that helped them rise.
